ABOUT THE ROLE

Mintlayer's credibility with institutional capital depends substantially on who its partners are. Tier-1 custodians, regulated exchanges, prime brokers, and institutional technology providers as partners signal to every investor and allocator that this is a serious protocol. The Strategic Partnerships Director builds those relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Identify and prioritize Mintlayer's highest-value strategic partnership opportunities: custodians, regulated exchanges, prime brokers, and institutional technology providers
  • Own complex multi-party negotiations for strategic agreements
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional infrastructure counterparties at senior and C-level
  • Develop co-investment partnership structures for Interest.One with the Head of Capital Strategy
  • Coordinate with the Head of Legal on agreement structures for all strategic partnerships
  • Report to the CEO on strategic partnership pipeline and deal stage
  • Represent Mintlayer at institutional infrastructure conferences

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years partnerships or BD at director level in financial services or crypto
  • Relationships across institutional crypto infrastructure: custody, prime brokerage, exchanges
  • Experience structuring complex multi-party agreements
  • Board-level communication and relationship management skills
