ABOUT THE ROLE
Mintlayer's credibility with institutional capital depends substantially on who its partners are. Tier-1 custodians, regulated exchanges, prime brokers, and institutional technology providers as partners signal to every investor and allocator that this is a serious protocol. The Strategic Partnerships Director builds those relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Identify and prioritize Mintlayer's highest-value strategic partnership opportunities: custodians, regulated exchanges, prime brokers, and institutional technology providers
- Own complex multi-party negotiations for strategic agreements
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional infrastructure counterparties at senior and C-level
- Develop co-investment partnership structures for Interest.One with the Head of Capital Strategy
- Coordinate with the Head of Legal on agreement structures for all strategic partnerships
- Report to the CEO on strategic partnership pipeline and deal stage
- Represent Mintlayer at institutional infrastructure conferences
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8+ years partnerships or BD at director level in financial services or crypto
- Relationships across institutional crypto infrastructure: custody, prime brokerage, exchanges
- Experience structuring complex multi-party agreements
- Board-level communication and relationship management skills
