ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for blockchain developers and Rust developers to come and build the Mintlayer core node. We are writing the chain from scratch, so we have a lot of interesting technical issues to solve. Core working hours are 10am–1pm CET.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop software in Rust for the core node
• Write tests and develop the test framework in both Rust and Python
• Help design and plan the architecture of the core node
• Fix bugs and security issues
• Work with other internal teams to integrate the core node into their products
• Mentor less experienced developers

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with a low-level language (C, C++, Rust)
• At least 2 years development experience with a minimum of 1 year blockchain experience, or 5 years with no previous blockchain experience
• Great written and spoken English
• Understanding of security issues and best practices
• You can read, understand and implement an RFC or specification
