Internal Audit & Transparency Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

Institutional investors and token holders both want transparency into how Mintlayer manages its treasury, deploys upgrades, and accounts for protocol-level risks. Building those transparency mechanisms from scratch — internal audit frameworks, proof-of-reserve tooling, and the public reporting that earns genuine trust — is rewarding work.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Design and implement the Mintlayer internal audit framework
  • Produce regular transparency reports for community and institutional audiences
  • Implement proof-of-reserve mechanisms and on-chain transparency tooling
  • Conduct internal audits on treasury management, financial controls, and protocol deployment procedures
  • Report audit findings and recommendations to the Risk and Compliance Director and CEO
  • Build the audit trail documentation standard for all material protocol changes
  • Coordinate with external auditors on the annual financial audit process

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 4+ years internal audit, external audit, or financial controls
  • Familiarity with on-chain transparency tooling and proof-of-reserve mechanisms
  • Experience in crypto or fintech environments preferred
  • Strong written communication for public-facing institutional reports
