ABOUT THE ROLE
The long-term value of any programmable blockchain protocol is determined by the applications built on it. ZK Thunder's EVM compatibility opens Mintlayer to the entire Solidity developer community. Token Factory gives builders the tools to issue programmable assets natively on Bitcoin's security layer. The Head of Ecosystem Growth turns those technical capabilities into a developer ecosystem.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Define and own Mintlayer's ecosystem strategy: developer adoption targets, grant program design, hackathon calendar, and ZK Thunder developer community development
- Design and operate the Mintlayer ecosystem grants program
- Build relationships with protocol developers, application builders, and developer community organizers
- Own ecosystem KPIs: active developers, deployed applications, TVL growth, and grant program conversion rates
- Hire and manage the Ecosystem Manager and Developer Relations Lead
- Represent Mintlayer at protocol developer conferences
- Coordinate with the Head of Protocol Engineering on developer tooling requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years in crypto ecosystem development, developer relations, or protocol growth
- Track record building developer communities around a live protocol
- Deep technical credibility — can engage builders peer-to-peer at a conference
- Experience managing grants programs or ecosystem funds
