ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head of Documentation to join our Dubai hub. In the world of Web Services and Blockchain, the documentation is the product. You will ensure that any developer — from a hobbyist to an enterprise CTO — can understand, integrate, and build on Mintlayer without friction. This is a high-level technical role: you are a Documentation Engineer who can read Go, JS, and Rust code and translate complex protocol logic into clear, elegant, and actionable guides.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy: own the entire documentation roadmap for MWS, the Core Node, and the Wallet/DEX APIs
- Content Creation: write high-quality API references, tutorials, and conceptual overviews for our Go and JS SDKs
- Code Examples: work with the engineering teams to maintain a library of Gold Standard code snippets and boilerplate repositories
- Standardization: establish a unified style guide and documentation standard across all Mintlayer projects
- Feedback Integration: work with the DevRel team to identify pain points in the developer journey and fix them through better documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in Technical Writing or Developer Advocacy, specifically for Cloud/SaaS or Blockchain protocols
- Ability to read and understand Go and JavaScript, and look at a Pull Request to understand how a new feature works
- Experience with GitBook, Docusaurus, Markdown, and managing docs via GitHub
- A gift for simplifying the complex — professional, authoritative, but accessible writing voice
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Dubai
