ABOUT THE ROLE

AI and blockchain are converging faster than most institutions have noticed. Mintlayer is positioning at that intersection deliberately — through ZK Thunder's verifiable compute layer for on-chain AI applications, through Interest.One's AI and Deep Tech Fund, and through Mintlayer Atlas, an AI training data licensing layer built natively on the protocol. The Head of AI owns strategy across all three tracks.

This role demands genuine range: technical depth to evaluate ZK Thunder's AI integration architecture, commercial judgment to speak to institutional fund LPs about the AI deep tech thesis, and the vision to position Mintlayer at the front of a market the world still does not fully understand.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Define and execute Mintlayer's AI strategy across ZK Thunder integration, the AI and Deep Tech Fund, internal tooling, and Mintlayer Atlas
• Oversee technical scoping of on-chain AI applications on ZK Thunder: verifiable inference, AI agent infrastructure, and autonomous protocol interactions
• Lead investment thesis development and deal flow for Interest.One's AI and Deep Tech Fund
• Build Mintlayer's AI market positioning with protocol developers, institutional allocators, and enterprise clients
• Develop the Mintlayer Atlas product roadmap: AI training data licensing infrastructure built natively on-chain
• Advise the executive team on AI tooling for internal operations across engineering, BD, and content functions
• Represent Mintlayer at AI and deep tech conferences

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep ML or AI technical background with product or strategy track record
• Familiarity with on-chain AI concepts, verifiable compute, or AI agent infrastructure
• Experience advising or investing in AI deep tech is a strong advantage
• Writes for both engineering audiences and institutional LPs without losing clarity
