ABOUT THE ROLE

Mintlayer is raising a Pre-Series A at a $1.5 billion target valuation and deploying capital through regulated fund vehicles in Abu Dhabi. The financial function supporting all of that is not a back-office job. It is a front-line role that institutional investors will scrutinize, auditors will examine, and regulators will review.

Multi-entity structures, crypto treasury positions in ML token, BTC, and stablecoins, cross-border payroll, and IFRS financial reporting for a digital asset company are not challenges most accounting professionals encounter. If you want to do this at an ambitious scale, Abu Dhabi is the right place right now.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Own all financial operations across Mintlayer entities: accounting, treasury management, payroll, and tax compliance
• Manage the ML token, BTC, and stablecoin treasury accounting alongside fiat balance sheet positions
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board and investors on agreed cadence
• Lead audit preparation: coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit timeline
• Implement and maintain accounting systems appropriate for a multi-entity crypto-native organization
• Build and manage the finance team
• Establish financial controls and approval workflows

WHAT YOU BRING

• CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction accounting structures
• Familiarity with crypto treasury accounting: ML token, BTC, stablecoins
• Big 4 background or startup CFO/Controller experience preferred
