ABOUT THE ROLE

The infrastructure behind a live blockchain protocol is unlike other environments. You are managing key material that controls real economic value, CI/CD pipelines deploying to production nodes, and API surfaces that institutional clients rely on. The Cybersecurity Engineer keeps all of that secure.

If you have worked in crypto-native environments before — real key management, HSMs, hardware wallets, zero-trust infrastructure — you will find this role immediately meaningful.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

  • Implement and maintain security controls across CI/CD pipelines, node infrastructure, API surfaces, and employee systems
  • Own the key management architecture for protocol nodes, treasury accounts, and signing keys
  • Build and enforce zero-trust network access policies across the distributed team
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of internal infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain the incident response playbook
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for anomalous access patterns
  • Train the team on security hygiene appropriate to a crypto-native environment

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years cybersecurity, infrastructure security, or DevSecOps
  • Experience in crypto-native environments: key management, hardware wallets, HSMs
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS or GCP) and zero-trust architectures
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus
