ABOUT THE ROLE
Mintlayer is scaling fast, and the infrastructure that supports that growth needs to scale with it. The Automation Specialist builds the systems that keep the engineering team focused on protocol work rather than manual operations — CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, testing frameworks, and the internal tooling that keeps everything running smoothly.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline infrastructure for the Mintlayer protocol codebase
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for the Rust codebase, smart contract layer, and API surfaces
- Own deployment automation for protocol nodes, ZK Thunder validators, and bridge relay infrastructure
- Build internal workflow tooling that reduces manual overhead
- Monitor infrastructure health and build alerting for anomalous conditions
- Document all automation systems to a standard enabling independent maintenance
- Evaluate and implement new DevOps tooling as the protocol stack grows
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years DevOps, SRE, or automation engineering
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, or equivalent tooling
- Familiarity with blockchain node deployment and monitoring
- Python or Go scripting proficiency
