As November’s chill sets in, our development efforts continue to heat up, bringing more refinements, enhancements, and innovations to the Mintlayer ecosystem. Let’s delve into the progress we’ve made this month.

Core Developments:

Testnet 0.2.0 Progress: Our focus has been on general debugging and fixes for the Testnet 0.2.0. We’ve implemented numerous small bug fixes and generic cleanups. This meticulous work ensures that we iron out any kinks, reinforcing our commitment to a smooth, stable and reliable network.

Token System Enhancements: We’ve made crucial updates to our token system, ensuring it remains robust and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of our users.

P2P Network Optimization: A considerable amount of work has gone into cleaning up and enhancing our peer-to-peer network.

Wallet Improvements: The team has been busy addressing various issues in our wallet, enhancing both functionality and user security to make sure that native ML tokens will be fully functional before the migration event and Mainnet launch.

Web & Browser Extension Updates:

Block Explorer Development: Our ongoing efforts with the Block Explorer continue to bear fruit. We’re now able to display detailed information from blocks, transactions, and addresses, providing greater transparency and insight into the Mintlayer blockchain.

Browser Extension Enhancements: Development on the browser extension has been vigorous. We’re actively implementing support for native ML tokens and focusing on addressing and identifying bugs. Performance optimization and user interface improvements remain high on our agenda, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all users.

This November has been a month of focused dedication and significant progress across all fronts of Mintlayer’s development.
