This month, the Mintlayer Core received important updates alongside continued development of the Mojito Browser Extension Wallet and JavaScript SDK, bringing improvements to security, reliability, usability, and developer experience.
Mojito Browser Extension Wallet
The Mojito Browser Extension received several important updates focused on security and usability. Passkey support was added, providing users with a more convenient and secure way to access and protect their wallet.
We also continued improving the wallet's security architecture and overall protection of sensitive wallet operations. Alongside these changes, the transaction preview was revised to provide clearer and more useful information before a transaction is signed, helping users better understand what they are approving.
JavaScript SDK
Development of the Mintlayer JavaScript SDK is continuing, with ongoing work focused on improving the developer experience, expanding platform support, and making the SDK easier to integrate across different environments.
Mintlayer Web GUI
Web GUI development continued with security and correctness improvements, alongside updates to the Mintlayer installation experience, including new Windows installer support and improved agent installation paths.
Mintlayer Core
Mintlayer Core received several reliability and security improvements, including fixes for duplicate token IDs and large token ID pagination, updated dependencies, improved macOS compatibility, and new WASM transaction decoding support.
