May 15, 2026

In April development was focused on improving developer tooling, expanding wallet functionality, and continuing to optimize the Mintlayer ecosystem.

Core & Wallet CLI

Node version 1.3.0 was released this month, bringing a number of improvements and updates across the network stack.

In addition, the Wallet CLI now supports order operations, expanding the available tooling for advanced users and developers interacting directly with the protocol.

Browser extension Wallet

The browser extension wallet received updates focused on simplifying the onboarding experience. These improvements help make the setup process more intuitive and accessible for new users entering the Mintlayer ecosystem.

Explorer

The Explorer received several important updates during this cycle. Mempool support has now been fully reintroduced and stabilized, allowing users to once again monitor pending transactions directly from the Explorer interface.

Additional optimization work was also carried out to improve Explorer performance and responsiveness.

SDK

The SDK continues to evolve with new developer-focused functionality. Support for transaction signing has now been added, alongside expanded account provider support that allows developers to initialize accounts directly from mnemonic phrases or private keys.

These improvements are aimed at simplifying integrations and making it easier to build applications and services on top of Mintlayer.

Web GUI

An alpha release of Web GUI marking an important milestone toward a more accessible graphical interface experience for Mintlayer users.
